The Fulton HPC Initiative supports a wide range of HPC applications in conjunction with faculty around campus, ranging from traditional computationally-intensive areas, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics and Advanced Materials, to non-traditional HPC areas such as Urban Sustainability through the Digital Phoenix project and Public Policy Informatics.
The Digital Phoenix project is developing an innovative integrated visualization platform to better understand the impacts of policy choices as they play out in patterns of growth and in the quality of life of Phoenix residents.
The Urban Systems Framework will enable near-real-time modeling of large urban areas at scale by connecting many domain specific models.
