The Fulton High Performance Computing Initiative offers world class computing resources to the researchers and students in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University. The Initiative is a hub for research in computing, collaborative research in the application of parallel computing systems, and a center for education in high performance computing systems.

March 26, 2008: Ranger Virtual Workshop Available:
Interactive training for Ranger,
the world's most powerful supercomputer for open science research, is now
available to the scientific community. ASU is an active partner in Ranger,
contributing significantly to its training and consulting efforts. For

March 26, 2008: MATLAB training comes to ASU April 2-3:
MathWorks will offer free technical sessions demonstrating the utility of

February 22, 2008: ASU Participates in Ranger Dedication:
Ranger, the new supercomputer system operated by the Texas Advanced Computing
Center in collaboration with Arizona State University and Cornell University,
will be formally dedicated at a ceremony this afternoon in Austin.
Ranger's 62,976 compute cores are to be formally released to the scientific
community, becoming the world's most powerful open science computing system.
